Kayaking Lessons

Hidden Valley Holiday Park is the perfect location for obtaining your kayaking certifications with both a shallow lake and river on site. We provide a safe and relaxed environment. All gear is included but you are welcome to bring your own.

Level 1 Kayak Skills – The Level 1 proficiency is an ICU (Irish Canoe Union) qualification. This course is suitable for beginners and for those with limited experience. Assessment for the ICU Level 1 Kayak Skills Award is included on the course.

Level 2 Kayak Skills – For those with some kayaking experience it is possible to progress directly to the Level 2 award. The skills and strokes learned in this program are a progression from Level 1. Assessment for the ICU Level 2 Kayak Skills Award is included at the end of the course.
